New Generation Star He was born in Lahore on 27th August 1974. He is a right-handed middle order batsman. He started his first class career in 1996-97 for Bahawalpur against Peshawar. He played his first test in 1997-98 against South Africa at Durban. He played his first One day international at Harare against Zimbabwe in 1997-98. Yousuf was first spotted and picked for the Pakistan team to South Africa when he played beautifully against the visiting English Team, in Lahore for some pre-Sharjah Cup warm up games. He showed lots of talent while batting against English team. Yousuf is another Pakistan's rising star who is worth watching, with his superb and timely shots tracing towards the boundary.
