An Off Spinner Prodigy! Saqi, as he is called by his teammates is undoubtedly the best off spinner in the world today. He first appeared for Pakistan in their home series against Sri Lanka, where he promptly took 4 wickets on debut, his first wicket coming off his seventh delivery. He is a very disciplined bowler and he rarely bowls a loose ball, but it is in the One-Day game that he has had amazing success. One of his feats is that he takes an average of close to 2 wickets per match. With an ever improving batting performance he is slowly being recognised as an all-rounder. His famous wonder ball (the wrong one as most popularly known)which drifts away from right handed batsman has secured loads of wickets for him.
