You can make wonderful enhancements to your daily usage appliances by performing minor changes. Your crockery and dinner utilities can become more attractive and even your serving trays can show a pinch of class and beauty.

Lets look at how we can add value to our age old serving tray. You can create attractive serving trays by just performing a few simple steps. Here's what you can do:

1. Measure the Length and Width of your Tray's inner surface.

2. Secondly cut a piece of cloth (any color that goes with your Tray or white which can go with any color) in accordance with your measurements. Take care that the cloth should have a length and width of 5 centimeter in excess of your actual measurements. Why? You'll see...

3. Now find a piece of cloth with beautiful flowers or eye-catching tree branches with flowers on it.

4. Next, cut the flowers (Picture A) from that piece of cloth (you can also get such flowers from shops at reasonable prices) and pin them at the corners of your Tray Line Cloth which you have kept aside for your tray.

5. Now sew them on the cloth so that they don't get peeled off easily. Now gently remove (cut) the excessive Tray Line cloth bordering your flower as shown in Picture B.

6. You can either use flowers or branches for this purpose. It all depends upon your particular choice.

7. After you have cut your (corners of) Tray Line cloth evenly, you can fold the four sides of the Tray Line and sew them with a contrasting thread visibly outlining the four sides. We have done it with color red as it goes fine with our flowers. This will form a compatibly elegant border of your Tray Line cloth.

8. Now your Tray serves an attractive look and you don't need to worry about the spots or worn out portions of your old Tray.

Thats it! You have turned your ordinary looking Tray into an ornamental piece of serving.
