Fish/Shrimp Salan

Instructions

  1. Saute the onion in oil till brown.

  2. Add the spices, tomato and yogurt.

  3. Mix well and add the fish pieces.

  4. Add a few tbs of water if necessary.

  5. Cover and cook on medium-low heat for 10-15 minutes.

  6. Shrimps take lesser time to cook.

  7. Serve with naan or boiled rice.




Ingredients

  • 1 onion chopped
  • Salt according to taste
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam mesala
  • bunch of dried methi
  • 1 tomato
  • 2-3 whole green chilies
  • 2-3 tsp oil
