Najam Sheraz >> Update!

Blessed recently with a baby girl named "Haya" najam has launched his latest album called "Jaisay Chaho Jiyo". He has made a come back after a long long break. The soundtrack "Jaisay Chaho Jiyo" is the famous jingle of a Tea Company who has also sposnored this album and its promotion. Jaisay Chaho is an acceptable rhythmic number which makes young and old feets move to the beat. The video of 'Jaisay Chaho Jiyo' looks nice and has taken alot many reshoots to finish. This album is a nice blend of songs for every age group and interest. Though some of the songs reminds one of a number of english compositions but this is what najam has been doing for the last few years.

'Aao Wahan Chalen', is undoubtedly the best number which has a new blend and a new concept. It should have been the title song of this album but unfortunately najam had other sponsorship ideas and thus sponsors won. 'Chori Chori' and Aahista' aer plain and below par while 'Ankhain' is a song made under influence of an english composition. It is just like following the same song like "You fill up my senses" but in Urdu. Khamoshi is another good number. Sajni, Badban and Jhoomoon Jhoomoon are again mediocre numbers. Veria is amongst the top performances in this album and again something new and wonderfully prepared. 'In Fiziaon Say Agay' is an all time favourite also included in this album. All in All, najam has produced a mixture of good and ordinary songs. Worth a try!
