Ali Haider >> Update ! Ali Haider was arrested by the police along with his friends Nomi and Neha, both models that are hanging fire. Sources said that the alleged debauchery took place in Nomi's flat in Defence area. The police, however, refused to give the page number of the contorted position they were found in during the raid. What the police did do is send them to hospital for a blow-test. It is pertinent to mention here that the Gizri police had picked up Ali Hyder along with his two friends, including a Lahore-based model girl, on suspicion of consuming alcohol on December 28. According to the police, Abdul Aziz, Nazim UC-6, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, who resides in Gizri police jurisdiction, had telephoned Madadgar-15 and complained about some immoral activities in a residential building. Responding to the call, the police raided the building and picked up renowned pop singer Ali Haider, model girl Sadia alias Neha and Naeem Quamar, and took them to the police station, the police added. The detainees were later taken to the Medico-Legal Section of the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for their medical examination to ascertain whether they were under the influence of alcohol or not, the police said. TPO Clifton Muneer Ahmed Shaikh had told that the police have picked Ali Haider and his friends and sent them to the JPMC for medical examination. A case would be registered against them on the basis of medical report, he said adding if the MLO reserved his report, the detainees would be released on personal bond as per law.

Ali Haider, Nomi, Neha's blood test positive for alcohol The Gizri police have not yet lodged an FIR against pop singer Ali Haider, and models Nomi and Neha even after receiving a medical report from the MLO Jinnah Hospital confirming they were intoxicated at the time of their arrest. Reports said that Nomi gets habitually thrown out of his cubby holes for hosting raunchy parties or small get-together or whatever goes. The host Nomi and his guests were sent to Jinnah hospital to ascertain whether or not they were bombed out of their gourd. The police did not request for a DNA test to find out if parts had gone avisiting and where. Their blood tested positive on alcohol in-take. The police have still not registered a case against the three accused. Police said that the decision on an FIR will be taken after the chemical report which they have not yet received from the central laboratory of JPMC.
