Choosing the right bank can be a confusing process. Don't be swayed by the hype, shop around and make sure that the account you choose will be right for you. Remember, you can have a variety of accounts with different banks. Think about where it is and how easy it is to pop in if you need to. What about cash points, can you use others around the country without being charged? Are there online banking facilities and ATM functions, like printing out mini-statements and ordering chequebooks etc? Can you get an overdraft if you need one?
